“Artificial Intelligence”-Humans Will Be Replaced By Machines!
In this age of internet and technology you may often come across a word “AI”.Probably it will lead the technology in the coming future.
This content struck my head when I was using my google assistant. How a machine could be so smart and realistic like a real human? After a few weeks of research, I’m writing this article. Go through the article and at the end, I’ll ask you a question regarding the topic.

1.What is arificial intelligence?
From the name, it is obvious that artificial intelligence is made by humans and meant for computers. It is not the robots killing humans that you may have seen in sci-fi films.
So, the computer may solve problems million times faster, may help humans to reach out to people around the globe. may render 3D objects but it doesn’t have the ability to reason, to solve problems, think, imagine, take decisions, to make strategy like humans.To narrow this gap between the human and computer Artificial Intelligence works.
So, Artificial Intelligence deals with the mimic of human behaviours in computers.
Artificial Intelligence is fuelled by Machine learning and deep learning. Let’s discuss the twos:-
2.Machine learning:-
The computers are pre-programmed. For a real-life situation, it is quite difficult to program a computer for every situation. Because in real life for a particular field the situations are numerous. Machine learning is a technique to extract patterns from the data, learn from the data and make prediction based on that pattern. In this technique, the computer is provided with some basic algorithm which learns itself and improves over time.
For example, we are trying to model an algorithm that can recognize trees. So, for this first, we have to feed the computer with a lot of images of trees from different angles. We must feed the computer the features of the tree (like it has a stem, leaves, fruits, etc.) .Then expect the computer to recognize the tree. Companies like YouTube, Facebook use machine learning to recommend videos, friend suggestions, etc. In this case, the computer uses the data like what type of videos you see (political, scientific, comedy, technology, etc.) how much time you spent on what type of videos, your location, no. of mutual friends, etc. and improves over time.
3.deep learning:-
It is also a type of machine learning but it works very similarly to the human brain.this model is a mimic of the human brain model. The human brain consists of billions of biological neurons interconnected with each other. Similarly, deep learning uses a no. of artificial neurons interconnected with each other called Artificial Neural Network(ANN).
4.Artificial Nural Network:-
The artificial neurons are mathematical functions. The ANN can operate on data and transfer the result between each neuron, can link the data with other information, can connect the result with the past data, etc. as humans do.
For the shake of simplicity, let’s consider the previous example of making a model that can recognize trees but using deep learning. In deep learning, we needn’t give the features of the tree (like stem, leaves, etc.) manually. Rather we need to give the model pictures of trees and the computer itself develops features for trees. To achieve this, we need to feed the computer a large no of images of trees.Basically, Deep Learning is used for solving complex problems.

For e.g. you teach a child the no. 4 as fig. 1 but if anyone writes the no. as fig. 2 then there is a high chance that the child can’t recognize the no. correctly.The child improves to recognize the different types of handwriting over time as he/she comes across them and get feedback of right or wrong. But how would you teach it to the computer?
The computer uses artificial neural networks for this purpose. The image is divided into a no. of pixels and then fed to the neurons. After the operation is over it predicts the result.If its prediction is right then it gets positive feedback otherwise gets negative feedback and modifies its operations to predict the correct result. It is used in image recognition, speech recognition, Natural language processing (understanding the human language, processing it and interacting with humans).
5.Application of artificial intelligence:-
Artificial intelligence is used in chess game you may often played in your computer. The computer isn’t programmed rather it is provided with some basic algorithm which analyses your movement and takes decisions accordingly. Even the computer can beat you in the game.
Artificial Intelligence is used in many fields such as self-driving cars, autopilot in aeroplane, assistants like apple’s Siri, Google Assistant, Microsoft’s Cortana, Amazon’s Alexa, etc. In the future, we may able to replace humans with intelligent machines. So, what do you think comment bellow?
